Hikyou Shirakawagensen Sansou Takefue, Minamioguni

The dining experience at Takefue is nothing short of lovely. We were treated to Kaiseki dinners that were not just delicious but also beautifully presented. Each dish was fresh and seemed to be crafted with the utmost care, allowing us to indulge in the flavors of Japan. Breakfast was equally impressive, featuring amazing pancakes that I keep dreaming about. Every meal was a delight!

The private onsens at Takefue are an absolute dream. I enjoyed the unique experience of soaking in an onsen surrounded by bamboo, which was not only relaxing but also visually stunning. The Chikujo No Ma and Chikurin No Yu provided a peaceful retreat that I couldn't get enough of. Each bath was thoughtfully designed to enhance the natural beauty around us.

Staying in the Amato room was a highlight of my trip. It was like a luxurious bungalow equipped with a private onsen, where I could relax while enjoying stunning views. The thoughtful design and attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. I also appreciated having amenities like a Nespresso machine and locally sourced drinks to enjoy during my time there.

The bathrooms at Takefue are truly a work of art. My room featured a private bath that opened to the sights of nature, creating a soothing atmosphere for relaxation. The use of luxury toiletries like L'Occitane added a touch of elegance to my bathing experience, making it feel truly special. I never wanted to leave the peaceful setting of the bath.
